Q: Where do you get your bamboo canes from?
Both the species of bamboo cane that we stock are imported directly from
carefully vetted suppliers in China.
Q: How strong is the bamboo?
Bamboo's tensile strength is 28,000 per square inch versus 23,000 for
steel. For this reason it is a primary building material in many Far
Eastern countries where it has been used for such purposes as
scaffolding and houses.
Q: What species of bamboo canes do you supply?
We supply the two most popular species of bamboo. Tonkin and Mao. More

Q: How can I order?
Orders can be placed in one of two ways:
• By contacting us via telephone or email (see
contact details).
• Via our SECURE online order service. Simply click on the our "Buy
Online" link to be redirected to our online catalogue where you will
find a comprehensive list of all our sizes and prices. From there you
can select the items you wish to purchase and add them to your “shopping
cart” To pay for your goods you just need to click on the “checkout”
icon where our secure server will take you step by step through
completing your payment and delivery details.
Q: How do I know my payment details are secure?
Credit Cards transactions are processed using the Protx secure credit
card system.
Protx security measures:
Credit/debit card details are secured within 128-bit encrypted sessions.
Sensitive information is stored on a heavily encrypted database that is
protected by multiple government approved firewalls. The
possibility of obtaining sensitive information from the Protx VSP
database is minimised due to high levels of encryption; firewall
security and the measures taken to ensure the information is
indecipherable.
When you get to the payment page, you will see a gold padlock appear in
the bottom right hand corner of your browser showing that the
transaction is secure.
Q: What is your returns policy?
In the rare event that you are not satisfied with your order, the goods
can be returned to us and the relevant value refunded to you. Please be
aware that in any event other than the goods being faulty, full carriage
costs, both for the original delivery and for collection and return of
the goods will be payable by you. Your statutory rights are not affected
by these statements.
Q: How long will I have to wait for my bamboo
once you have received my payment?
Current lead-times are usually 2-3 days from receipt of payment. Should
their be any delay in the despatch of your order a member of our team
will notify you immediately.
